Hired & Non-Owned Coverage
Even if you don’t have any business-owned vehicles, you could still have a need for Hired and Non-Owned Auto Coverage. Hired Auto coverage can be added onto your BOP policy for vehicles that are leased, hired, rented, or borrowed.
As for Non-Owned Auto coverage, this applies to the vehicles not owned, hired, leased, rented, or borrowed by your business. These can be vehicles owned by your employees, or members of their household, though only when used for business purposes. If your employees use their own vehicles for work, Non-Owned coverage is a necessity.
